I have been treating off and on for six years, well in October I started having different symptoms than I ever had, my knees hurt bad when I bend and my calves touch the back of my knees the pain is unbearable, And my calves are so so swollen they are huge,
What is this lyme, co infection, I have treated for lyme and bart for years took a break for a while then had a tragedy in my family, caused severe stress, also I know I have severe yeast, and haven't had a women's cycle in 8 months but natural path dr said testrostgene is high.
Any guesses can't really afford to go see LLMD been out of work since Dec cause of knee and calve pain:( Life sucks with this disease

You need to find out what this is. ND doesn't seem to have diagnosed it. Why not go to a GP, don't mention tickborne diseases and see what is said. There are a number of things that can cause this, which you can google, and some need attention soon.
If the visit is covered by insurance, why not? Best to get some recommendations for primary care doc if you don't know a good one. Plenty of not very good docs out there, don't go to them.

I agree with Poppy.
Don't mention lyme or TBD at all.
Just mention your symptoms, how they have affected your life, irregular period, very sore calves, sore knees.
Let the insurance companies pay for all the bloodwork, imaging, specialist appointments, medications etc.
And see what they find.
Perhaps it is not TBD at all. Maybe tendinopathy?
But if it is, then at least most of the expensive stuff will have been paid for by insurance if it comes to the point where you need to treat for TBD again.
Sorry you are going through this. It sound really awful with the painful calves.

Yeast can cause all of your symptoms. Also, it has likely robbed you of your vitamins and minerals.
Be sure to address it and supplement both.. esp magnesium.

Turmeric powder in capsules relieves my joint pain, and lymph drainage massage eases pain around knees and ankles for me. Just my experience around those areas. I know we're all different and need to find treatments that work for us.
