just reading all your posts and wanted to chime in

That I have been were you are and progress can be

slow and discouraging at times. find a great LLMD

And work with that doctor. try to be in compliance

with your meds and try not to drive the doctor

nuts during a herx. dont take anything that the

doctor has not prescribed for you. that includes

herbs, tinctures, oils or anything else that can

interfere with antibiotics. get out of the house

and exercise and challenge your brain in all areas

like body position and memory recall, stand on one

foot and close your eyes then repeat other leg.Go

to your local support group and talk to others and

when you are better help others to see the road

more clearly. if your doc allows pulse and hit

instead of tindamax as a cyst buster i would try

it. waiting off antibiotics until it is unbearable

then hitting it hard for 1 month then stopping

again and repeating the protocol. this allows the

lyme to move from its hiding spot. again ask your

doctor and dont self medicate ever. for acid

reflux i would try to stop eating whole wheat or

any type of flour. it seems that it may be for

some people a gluten sensitivity. probiotics are

a must and no sugar and i mean none or you will

pay. there are many herbs and juices that are just

as powerful or more so then antibiotics are so go

slow with it as this is not a race. you can really

and I mean really set your self up for a herx that

can incompacitate you for months so slow wins the

game. lastly things to consider thru your lyme

tour is that a little prayer goes a long way and

in some people healed them. I know I am one of

them.. there is light at the end of the tunnel

it just takes time! many prayers for all lymies!

thanks for listening!

Glad your doing so well and appreciative of the advice...but I'm not sure some I agree with. Patients should be able to turn to their doctor when herxing. As far as driving them nuts...not sure how that would be classified. They need to be there for their patients when needed. As physicians that is their responsibility and no one should feel uncomfortable contacting them. Sometimes a herx is not one at all, but could be a dangerous side effect.

As far as prayer healing those with Lyme, that's one I will reserve my comments on for now.

Thanks for sharing! How long did it take you to get to a "good" place?

Did you take antibiotics for 8 years straight or did you have breaks in between??

Did you stay with the same LLMD all 8 years?

So glad to hear you are well!

I man happy for you that you have recovered but don't totally agree with your advice.

There is no standard treatment for the various infections even among the LLMD's. Some of them sell us bags of supplements and some of them don't suggest anything. There is usually nothing wrong with adding a supplement you think will help you.

Most LLMD's for instance know nothing about methyl cycle mutations. Some of the supplements the doctor gave me are bad for me because of my mutations. It is not my responsibility to educate her so I "take what I like and leave the rest". I discovered what works best to keep my protomyxzoa under control.

I would not advise anyone to blindly follow a doctor's orders. Many people are being treated for the wrong infection and if they did not protest, nothing would ever get changed.

nefferdun my llmd does! not all llmd are the same

though. (ellen101) some llmds can be called

directly day or night in case of a bad herx. very

few offer it so dont call unless an emergency..

mine offered it! and yes i used it, on supplements

and herbs there can be adverse reactions as well

as extreme herxes so be careful..that is why i say

to do what the llmd says and that is it.

(oceangirlsa) i took antibiotics the whole time

but kept stopping because of the herx.. I made

alot of headway once I stayed on the protocol

and worked thru the herxes...they were really

bad..i have been on this board many times

before looking for answers. i had to renew my

login because it had been so long that i had been

on here. we are getting better and i want you

all to know that we are putting lyme behind us!

you will get better just takes time...i had a

really good llmd that understood it better then

most doctors and that is why i got better..
