I have been having brain fog and not thinking clearly, and other mental issues lately. It made me think of the time I took knotweed, I got the same sx, so maybe knotweed hit whatever bacteria is surfacing.

I don't feel what I am taking now is treating it and would like to retry the knotweed. The first time I took it I took one capsule and was stuttering and a mental mess the next day. I am sure that meant it was working but it scared me off it cause it was a really bad feeling.

Now that I am feeling that way, it has me concerned enough to retry knotweed.

could I take 1/2 or a 1/4 cap to start or pulse??

I would really appreciate any advice!

Can you check buhners book and be sure knotweed doesnt interact with anything else you take?

I had a bad reation to cats claw and after reading i realized i couldnt take it until i got off my reflux med

If there are no bad interactins then i think starting low and working up makes a lot of sense-that is the beauty of using his teas...you can start very low

Good luck

I use NOW Resveratrol from knotweed (polygonum cuspidatum) one cap/day as it says on bottle.

I do not notice a reaction from knotweed.

Brain and neuro/CNS symptoms are my main symptoms.

Apple seeds, chewed & taken with some water (about 5-12 per day, and I eat the apples after), artemisinin, and andrographis (just 1 cap on rare occasions-I took at first daily for a few weeks, and then could not tolerate it much), are the supplements which have cleared my brain fog the best.

Especially the apple seeds.

I didn't have any trouble with knot weed affecting my brain. What helped me the most was quitting my morning cup of decaf coffee or tea. Too much sulfur I think.
