I believe Ceftin crosses the blood brain barrier. I would think you would need an antibiotic that would do this.

I've read that minocycline crosses the blood/brain barrier. But I don't know if that is the abx of choice. I wonder if an antiviral might also be useful? Valcyte (HHV-6) see HHV-6Foundation.org? or Famcyclovir (EBV and HHV-6).
