We have decided to treat our 2.75 year old with amoxicillin. She starts today. I know I am a pretty big herxer. Do toddlers herx like adults do?
What can we expect as the lyme dies off? I've heard that kids handle it better, but I'm not sure what the effects are.

Are you working with a pediatric LLMD? Hopefully you are as the protocols, side effects etc are very different for children and due to their size, continuing development, lack of ability to adequately explain how they are feeling, their guidance is necessary.

I totally agree with Ellen-
I know you mentioned brain fog before- if you are treating yourself and your child, here's a tip:
Keep all medications separate. Different cabinet for your items, another cabinet for your child's.
Write down everything: a notebook on your counter, start each day with a fresh page, one side you, one side the child's, name and date on top for each.
Each time either of you takes anything: medication, probiotics, a vitamin, it is written down with the time. Make side notes on what you see happening with your child.
