I guess I found my own answer for some of this here.

Make sure you keep up the dry brushing, Epsom salt baths, etc, etc....
It is miserable when your body gets like this, sorry.
Hopefully it will pass soon. If possible, call your LLMD and ask, maybe your dose should be lowered.

Bart is a devil!
Yes, I had an increase in mental symptoms for the first ten days of bart treatment.
The op is right, detox and rest is the key.

Read www.thehumansideoflyme.net which was written by a now-retired Lyme-literate Psychiatrist.

dry brushing ? I have a brush. DIdn't realize this was good for all this! I will dig it out and use it. thanks!
I have not realy felt any different after salt baths so I stopped. Should I feel something? or just do it any way? I really don't enjoy baths.

My tinnitus is worse now too so I am hoping this is bart and will go away with treatment!
Thanks (above) for help!

Our LLMD says Bart is notorious for causing psych issues. In fact, my daughter did NOT test positive for Bart, but he's thinking that she has it anyway because she has had previous suididal ideation when taking antibiotics for acne (then suicide attempt as soon as dose was doubled). Our LLMD said that sounds like a bartonella herx.

I scoffed at the dry brushing but was amazed that it did
help move the toxins along.
Try just soaking your feet in Epsom salts, still helps.

yes, carrie , I might agree. I'm no dr, but I totally see a correlation now with herx / mental issues and all this
foot soak sounds great dogs! why didn't I think of that! Posted by LisaK (Member # 41384) on :
