As I've stated before, I have a few lingering symptoms...mainly minor brain fog, and short term memory/ focus.
Previously I was on minocycline for a few months. Felt better on it, but always felt foggy. I then went on amoxicillin and augmentin for a couple months and didn't feel near as foggy, but my eye twitching returned while on the Amox. I had been eye-twitch free for almost 3 months previously.
Well, my Amox/augmentin Prescription ran out so I went back on Minocycline until I see my LLMD. It's only been a few days on the Mino again, but it am feeling a little light-headed/foggy now.
Thoughts? Could this be a herx...? I've never felt as if I have herded before, because generally this feeling doesn't go away. Or is this a possible side effect from being on Mino?
Thanks guys!

I always felt a little lightheaded/dizzy from mino-part was the side effect of the drug, but part could be a herx as well.
Minocycline can hit the Lyme, but also some of the co-infections. I took it for ehrlichiosis.
So, may be you are hitting something besides Lyme which is causing the brain fog.
I know what I just said doesn't help much.

Mino can cause vestibular side effects such as dizziness.

How do you know if it is from BB or if it a side effect?

I don't know but some people say it can subside further into treatment.
Does the dizziness feel different than your usual Lyme symptoms?
