I've heard a bit about challenge tests and also about taking antibiotics before a lyme test to "help" get positive results.
I took a 2 week course if antibiotics, and then hady blood drawn for Igenix about 4 weeks later.
Will that help, or did I wait too long to have my blood taken?

This thought occured to me also. I would have liked to take the standard CDC test after starting antibiotics. I didn't think of it until after I stopped treatment and decided I needed more proof I had lyme disease.
The Lyme disease doctor I saw gave me minocycline, azithromycine, rifampin and bactrim. After I took them I started to get a weird neurological condition where I feel paresthesias all over. They feel like cold water, burning in my limbs or stinging. The sensations are anywhere and momentary.
I stopped antibiotics 4 years ago, but still get these sensations. No doctor can tell me what they are so far. I think I've had them slowly go away, but they came back to original strength twice during an upper respiratory infection without using antibiotics.
I feared it was some kind of auto-immune. I could also hypothesize I really do have infection, but there isn't enough to prove it or cure it in my opinion yet and I don't want to screw around with more drugs at this point.
I'm hoping that the antigens tests coming out will bring clarity and if needed the development of a cure for the infections once they are identified and confirmed.

applewine.. Consider candida/yeast for those symptoms.
