I started up on Diflucan this morning and am experiencing burning in my gums and neuro. in my face and head/brain.
I have not been on Dif. for quite a while and do not recall what I went through last time.
Could Dif. work that quickly and could it cause your gums to burn? Also, my face and head feels kinda burning pressure. Yeast herx?
I know yeast herxing can be pretty intense and am curious what others experience when on Diflucan. Thanks! DW

Yes that has been my experience also, that it works quickly. Also Diflucan kills other stuff.

Thanks. After day 3 I needed to take a break and do more detoxing. The herd is pretty intense.
I am aware of its potential to treat neuro /chronic Lyme. A doctor in Germany (?) did a very small research on it.
Is there anything else Diflucan treats?

I couldn't tolerate diflucan. I use nystatin instead and herbals for systematic yeast.

Most certainly a whoa...herx:(. I am one sick pup and in serious pain with horrific head pain, neck pain and head pressure. Feels like a TBI herx but been back on multiple abx.s over the past 3 months and did not feel worse or better - hence doing another round of Dif.
I am also getting fibro like pain. I am taking Molybedium (sp) but wondering how else to detox out the toxins.
Here is a list of herbs I take for yeast. Not sure if they get systemic or not but..
Caprylic Acid Oil of Oregano Olive Leaf Exract Grapefruit Seed Extract Black Walnut ART ( LLMD said it also treats yeasts/parasites in addition to babs?) Garlic Byron White A-FNG
I herx on them but nothing like Diflucan. Yuck...

Olive leaf and oregano oil are suppose to work.
Oregano oil did nothing for me even at high doses.
I haven't tried olive leaf.
I'm taking Thorne SF722 right now. It seems to work okay.
