I had a new tick bite (again !!!) and i didnt panic at all, took a tindamax and minocycline right after it. Now i didnt have any issues after the tick bite, it looks like a mosquito bite.

I stopped the abx because my candida issues kicked up again (super bad gut issues) and the mcs was way worse. I was afraid i would end up with systemic candida again and took cowden herbs.

But today my allergies got so bad, i took a zyrtec the last evening because of that. Suddely its like i havent taken a zyrtec at all which normally protects me 48hours or more. I felt like having some sort of panic attack, my thyroid was hurting (still is) and felt like in the BEGINNING of what i called "lyme" 10 years ago.

I was camping outside because of "mold" issues in the house. Maybe i had some tick bites without even noticing it.

Is the abx even worth it? I feel so allergic and ****ed up i dont even know where to begin. Im really scared! WHAT should i do now? Im afraid [Frown]

Do you have a Lyme doctor? If you're in CA and need one, you can pm me - there are doctors who will treat with other remedies besides abx -

Check out this website, maybe there is a referral to assist you.

As Robin mentioned, getting to a LLMD would be a tremendous help.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Is there any way you can take diflucan or nystatin?

"it looks like a mosquito bite. "

That's what mine looked like, but it didn't go away. I showed it to 5 practitioners. One said allergic reaction, another said spider bite.

Finally, a new PCP said erythema migrans rash.

My first symptoms of Lyme was allergies going crazy.

I was reacting even when there weren't triggers around.

i tryed to reach three of my doctors but couldnt reach anyone even on their mobile phones.

yeah it looks like a mosquito bite and my allergies are going crazy.... its really intense. i mean it does NOT make sense i needed a double dose zyrtec and even this doesnt make it go away completely. it feels like histamine is involved too. feel like going backwards.

Because lyme runs rings around the immune system, allergies then begin or get worse. You could say it was a frustated immune system causing your problems. That is why in the U.S. the medical institute that handles infectious diseases also includes allergies. Not exactly an intuitive association, but there it is.

Can also be part of leaky gut, which might be candida or antibiotic related. So, still in the lyme group of issues for us.

I woke up in the middle of the night a while back with a sudden feeling of allergy to a down comforter. This was while I was using oral abx and they are not as useful as IV for me. Never had this before.

thank you! then again isnt it lyme that makes the mast cells go CRAZY?!

YES!! www.tmsforacure.org

I think candida/yeast may be the biggest offender, though.

if you think that, why do i often feel (even with the chronic lyme that i already had) feel better on abx for a short time, then worse?! its all so hard to sort out. wouldnt i get better on diflucan alone?!

its a mix of mast cells/candida/lyme that i CANT figure out.

oh and cannabis helps big time.... but im often scared to use it.
