I have had a lot of symptoms in the last year and most recently it feels like my head/neck and feet vibrate and last night my chest.

My lyme test through the military has comeback inconclusive today and they want to draw more blood and the test won't be back for 2 to 3 weeks. I am starting to get really freaked out and not sure what to do. I go to the doctor tomorrow and not sure what I should say to them.

I think I might need to take leave and go to an LLMD somewhere back in the mainland, but I might have to pay for it on my own dime because it won't be through the military doctors. Does anybody have any advice? Is is very likely to die from lyme?

This was a few years ago and very hard to get good help thru va

About 15 yrs ago my first kayak instructor left hawaii for north east cuz there were no llmds therr

Welcome! Hope you can find the help you need. Keep us posted and feel free to ask more questions right here!!

Here is a ton of info on Lyme and its coinfections:

It may be very hard to get help in Hawaii and from the VA, so be prepared to self-fund. Most insurances will not pay for treatment, so we all understand what it's like.
