Hi, I recently have been looking into drinking raw milk for nutrients. Has anyone heard of borrelia being in the raw milk? Just curious. -Runner

Raw as in unpasteurized? I don't know if Bb is in unpasteurized milk but I know there are possibilities for other nasties to be in there. I would try to get nutrients some other way if it were me, unpasteurized products are a bit too risky for me. That's just me, though.

No, but you could get Q fever that way.

I drank raw camel's milk for several months. It helped me but was too costly to continue. I had to order it from out of state and the shipping was a lot, not to mention $10 a pint for the milk. Then I had to separate the cream out.
Raw camels milked is supposed to help children with autism as well as people with compromised immune systems - like us.
There is a Facebook page for it and people swear their autistic kids are recovering with it. I am always skeptical of these claims but I gave it a try. Not a cure for me but I did feel better.

Excitotoxins; MSG; Aspartame; & "Natural" Flavors (that are not likely natural at all);
GMO foods that destroy the GI Tract; Gluten; Dairy. -

-- Keebler, I believe this is the information you’re referring too, correct me if I’m wrong?
Not exactly sure that this fits in this thread. However, for those trying to figure out if certain foods or additives are the root cause of stomach or full body woes, it's good to consider this.
Sidebar: When a lifetime of suffering, medical visits and prescription drugs can be resolved with a not especially challenging dietary change, a certain amount of retroactive frustration seems justifiable.
Not surprisingly, experiences like mine with dairy, outlined in my column of two weeks ago, are more common than unusual, at least according to the roughly 1,300 comments and e-mails we received since then.
In them, people outlined their experiences with dairy and health problems as varied as heartburn, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, eczema, acne, hives, asthma (``When I gave up dairy, my asthma went away completely''),
After avoidance and healing has occurred, some who can't "do" diary may be able to tolerate and enjoy GOAT CHEESE.
Still, it's vital to avoid any from animals that are fed any GMO-feed and best from grazing animals tended humanely with no chemicals on their grazing land.

I have read in several places to not drink raw milk as it may have live buggers in it
