Eyes are red, dry, gritty, yellow on whites, new blood vessels burst daily, or more inflamed.
Can this just be from bartonella, or Lyme?
Do I go see an eye doctor? I am afraid they just want to give me steroids all I have read or heard is they are bad!

Yes, Bart can do this.
May also be allergies...
I like Optique-1 eyedrops (from health food store).

Lyme and coinfections can cause a lot of ocular problems. It's probably worth a trip to the eye doctor -- if it is something like uveitis, steriods may be necessary to save your vision. My mom (who has Lyme) got a very refractory case of uveitis a few years ago. Untreated, it can be very serious.

If your eyes are yellow, it could indicate some problems with the liver. I would let your LLMD know about this - just to be safe.

Thanks for the responses, i will talk with my doctor on Thursday and see where we go from here.
I don't think it is causing any vision problems, it's been like this for 5 months.

Your medication like Rifampin can cause liver problems.
Other than yellow on the whites of your eyes, do you have any of these - dark urine - light-colored stools - nausea or vomiting?
I’m glad you’re seeing your doctor on Thursday.

No dark urine, just slightly yellow orange, stools are light brown, so not dark.
I haven't been sick in years, throwing up or a fever, maybe like 20 years or so. But I have always ran low body temp, so maybe u couldn't notice a fever.
