Last Thursday and Friday I did to much which really is not a lot these days.
Saturday my right hand was swollen twice the normal size and could not put pressure on left foot so could hardly walk. This is not unusual to be in severe pain after doing to much.
By Sunday I slept most of the day and all night. Monday went to one dr I see had no rest or nap and slept horrible last night.
Tonight despite the Xanax and 9mg of melatonine there is no sleep in sight and I am exhausted. Yes I am in pain my bones hurt and my joints are swelling but I can not sleep.
I just wonder why even though I am so tired some days and nights I could sleep forever and others I'm miserably tired but no sleep.
On a good note finally got an appt with an LLMD.

I'm glad you are getting in soon with a LLMD.
Honestly, it sounds like Lyme and co. active infections, body haywire back and forth. Hang in there--

Thanks Suprise
Finally got 2 hours maybe. Know the hardest part is coming and that's the initial Dr Visit then wait another month and hopefully start treatment

I bet you won't have to wait a month to start, bring all your testing in with you--
Hope you can get a nap and rest in. Be gentle with yourself. Eat healthy, start your probiotics.

Lyme messes with the whole endocrine system, which ultimately ruins sleep.
Adrenal support gave me my sleep back. You might want to try some adrenal products since adrenals are usually shot on lyme patients. AdrenaSense helped me (no affiliation whatsoever).
It happens to me I have so many pains in diff er ent places now its often impossible to get away from.pain enough to sleep in bed but i can in recliner Also recently i have been doing wsy too much physically, not eting right, even missing meds also sweating a lot and when i go to bed i get bad restless leggs

Yes. It is possible to be "too tired to sleep." I've experienced this myself a lot. I think it has to do with cortisol - too much at the wrong time of day.
