All any any feedback appreciated on the things that you use to help treat, keep under control, keep at bay candida.

I used low carb diet when I was on abx, and also boron.

I think boron is essential for keeping yeast down.
If I had to pick one thing, I would say the boron was the big helper against candida.

I also tongue scrape, and used lauricidin intermittently (say for 3 week on pulses) when I was on abx.

My digestion is too quick, so sometimes the lauricidin pellets would emerge undigested... So I tried not to use it when I was super inflamed as it was wasted. Hence the intermittent pulsing.

Good to know about the boron!! I just started taking it a month ago.

Be sure to take at least 100 billion CFU's of probiotics each day, eat low carb, and stay away from sugar!!

I forgot to mention the probiotics I took also.

400 billion cfu of mixed cultures. I tried to alternate formulas.

I add good yeast to the bacteria probiotics. I use the Klaire brand for both. Sacch. boulardii is the happy yeast.

Clove, Oregano, Olive leaf extract, Caprylic acid will kill the yeast, but probably the good gut flora, too. It's a balancing act.

Also worm parasites release Candida when they die.

Thanks for all the responses.

Have you all stayed on candida protocols constantly even off
Abx or off killing agents?

Have you been tested and then retest or do you just assume you have to stay in treatment mode.

Anyone tried Apple Cider Vinegar enemas?
I read about them on a couple sites
I added one prior to my coffee enema today
It was intense.

But I also read that candida just returns every 24 to 48 Hours

It seems so tough to stay on top of.

It gets into blood too and yes seems like such a balancing act.

I've always stayed on probiotics and gotten rid if sugars and carbs etc. But.

Does anyone not have candida ? I mean my father who is healthy deals with it and others I know who are not sick but have chronic issues with it.

I have to assume we all have it. ?
Yes ? No ?

Sorry for all the questions.
I haven't actually concentrated directly on treating it per say as opposed to paying attention to keeping it in check.

Another question.
What symptoms do you attribute candida causes vs all the other infections we deal with. ?

Biotin (mega-high-dose) is also good because it prevents the Candida from turning into a more resistant/difficult to kill version.

Zinc tannates (e.g., Tanalbit) are also good (take between meals).

Frequency machines can also be helpful...

For Candida die-off, take Molybdenum (it helps the body process the aldehydes (alcohol) given off by the dying fungus).

Watch your Zinc:Copper ratio...too much copper increases yeastie beasties (estrogen requires copper, which is one reason women get yeast infections so easily).

Any time I got candida while treating lyme, my doctor gave me Diflucan. A few days of that plus cleansing my mouth twice per day would get rid of the candida in about 3-4 days.

To cleanse the mouth, follow the Burrascano directions or use a 50-50 solution of peroxide and water. Scrub the mouth with this for a few minutes including cheeks, under tongue, etc. Do a good job on the tongue.

Then rinse and immediately open a probiotic capsule onto your tongue. Let this dissolve completely before you eat or drink anything.

This will replenish the good flora in the mouth which has been destroyed by the mouth cleansing.

The anti-yeast diet and good probiotics keep it at bay. But, if it shows up on the tongue, do the above to clear it. Some have to stay on Diflucan much longer. Some can't get rid of yeast while treating. They just keep it to a tolerable level.

At the end of treatment, my doc restored my gut by giving me Diflucan and Nystatin plus 30 days of Florastor.

Olive leaf extract, tumeric and coconut oil are helpful.
