before diagnosis I was dealing with breast pain and fullness for a long time. it never went away, only changed in intensity .

this is pain like PMS pain or pregnancy pain, etc.

after I was dx and started treatment it went away and only came back now- almost one year from start of treatment, and I am supposedly cured of lyme, bart, babs, strep and some parasites.

My treatment right now is for balstocystis. all of a sudden the pain has returned and is very uncomfortable. been here about 2 weeks now.

any ideas on what is causing it? or how to feel better?

Well, as you probably know, breast pain and fullness is a symptom of lyme disease. You will see it listed on page 10 of Burrascano Guidelines.

The pain and fullness seems to be from the production of milk in the breasts. You can try and see if you can get some milk to come out.

I have known a number of women who have had this lyme symptom. I would say that it shows the lyme is attacking your gynecological system.

It attacked mine and gave me the opposite--a false menopause with shrinking breasts, vaginal atrophy, ovaries that became tiny and produced no estrogen hormone, etc.

If it were me, I would go back on good lyme treatment. I expect that this will take care of this symptom. I would not stop lyme treatment until I was symptom-free for 2 months.

I was cured of lyme, babs, and bart over 9 years ago now by going to a doctor who followed the Burrascano protocol.

I just had this start up again after almost a year of being gone. Also, some other symptoms like course eyebrow hair...and skin issues. I'm sure they are hormonal and caused by one of the infections since it went away after treatment. Also, I include candida with the infections because they cause many symptoms.

TF, I must have forgotten that one on the list!!

I am finishing my other treatments before I get rechecked for lyme and do more of that. I just think it's strange that I had that symptom for years before and then after doxy it went away- almost a year later until now.

too bad I don't have any Dr B drs near me or any that I can afford to travel to, so it's this what I am doing now or curl up and wait for the end.

Jamers, what treatment did you get?

My doctor but me on tree berry capsules & some "lady" supplements for my breast pain. It has really helped me.

Maybe it's something just as simple as that, I always assumed worst case scenario and I have learned to try and stop doing that.

They still hurt like a mofo when it's that time of the month but I feel better in between for sure

Totally a lyme flare symptom for me.

Lyme has turned my breasts from 36D to 36G

I fear they still grow. I have to go to a specialty store for bras over an hour away.

This disease has messed up all my hormones.

If I was trying to get a career in the adult film industry, I would welcome these new "developments" but currently loathe the extra weight and pain they bring to my spine.

Lisa, if they are changing in size or texture, I would almost lean towards lyme. Sorry [Frown]

I've been having the same issue. Breasts became so familiarly painful a few months ago I took several HPT's. They have stayed painful, TOM or not.

Growing here too. I had to quit bras due to the chest and rib pain, but have found bras help the breast issues. Can't win either way.

I found bioidentical progesterone cream helped my estrogen dominance issues, including palpitations and breast tenderness.

I hope I didnt get rebitten.

I have had a large amount of symptoms this past month that really flaired up.

I am almost done with my current treatment. I will wait and see if I feel any improvement after I am done with that.- 3 more days.

thanks everyone.

I did use a cream years an years ago when a gyno told me I was in perimenopause. too bad it was lyme all along.

that reminds me..... I had a goal to write to all the 40+ drs that misdiagnosed me over the years telling them it was tick diseases they missed! another thing on my list to do
