Has anyone been on this? Can you tell me your experience with it for asthma or bradycardia?
I'm on it for bradycardia but I'm worried about it. I know it's similar to caffeine and used to be mixed with ephedrine in diet pills. I'm already underweight and also have fast arrhythmias as well.
It seems like a risky drug but I'm not being offered a pacemaker yet because IMO of my age, gender and my heart rate is not pausing for more than 3 seconds. I get drops to 36 bpm mid-day non-resting though with symptoms and also non-stop fainting 98% of the time which is due to low BP without HR problems.

Wow-that brings me back 35 years! My son had asthma from about 2-5yrs Many trips to hospital...i never heard him wheeze but they told me watch for his nostrils flaring and bring him in
Everytime they gave him thheoppyllin...first fast movi.g kind...then the other kind for awhile-i forget how long
That was back when i thought docs were always right
His learning disabilities were worse than the other kids...he had more problems than the others in manyways
He was never hyper or skinny tho
Havent heard of that drug since he was little

Thanks lpkayak. It's not helping me unfortunately. I fainted badly yesterday and might have had some type of seizure too. My HR had been 40 earlier and then I fainted from low BP and it seemed like it took me longer than usual to wake up.
I had just drank a sprite and I'm pretty sure I vomited all over myself while unconscious....yuck...either that or was foaming at the mouth my whole face and neck was soaked.
My ankle was twisted in a weird way too. Fainting is normal for me though so I can't be sure it was the theophylline.
