Has anyone ever tried the Fisher Wallace Stimulator for pain, anxiety and depression?
I would very much appreciate any information you can provide.

- I'm very sorry that pain, anxiety and depression are in your life at all. IMO, there are other ways - safer ways - to work with all that.
I would not touch this. It could make anxiety much worse, as it would likely send too much stimulation to the hormone center of your brain and snowball the entire HPA, hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal "triangle" of sorts that is so affected by lyme.
Any stimulation can just blast us out of the water, due to the unique hormone issues with lyme.
Dr. Burranscano's guidelines specifically say that NO Electrical Stimulation devices should be used. And that's even just on "muscles" in the physical therapy section (I'll be back with citation). So, to put this on the head,
and that it is said to stimulate the limbic system . . . which is already often just so out of whack from lyme . . . well, unless a very experienced LLMD or LL ND suggests it specifically for you, I would not go there.
I also had very bad reaction to something way less powerful clipped on my earlobe years ago. It was a mild stimulation intended to calm tinnitus. Instead, I had a seizure. Tinnitus (and my whole brain) was way worse from that for a long time.
I'd had similar "zoom me to the moon but too frazzled to lift my head" episodes after electrical stimulation for back pain. (Not TENS, that's very different and much milder.)
Now, my ears are main trigger for seizures so I probably differ from you.
I want to add again, though: UNLESS a very experienced LLMD or LL ND suggests it specifically for you -- and they have experience with this exact thing. Of course, they may know more about this. -

- All kinds of other ways to approach this come to mind, things that really helped me deal with at least some degree of anxiety but very much depression and moderately pain.
I can't list all that - and you may not want other things here. Just know that there are so many other options to consider, even if you've worked your way down a list so far. -

Not sure about the treatment...
But Fisher Wallace makes excellent instruments.
They use top quality material, and are factory calibrated, and last forever.
We use industrial fisher Wallace products at my work.

Thanks Keebler for taking the time to answer. I appreciate your concerns.
I spoke to a Psychiatrist from Columbia University that has 400 patients doing really well on it. Its FDA approved to help pain, migraines, anxiety and depression. One lyme patient wrote that it helped her especially with herxheimer reactions.. If i decide to try it i will certainly report back if anyone is interested.
