Has anybody been diagnosed clinically with Bartonella or believe they have it but came back negative on the Bart blood test?

Yes. There are several strains of bartonella that the tests don't cover.

yes I have had it since 1980s and think its the worst of the infections I have. I have not yet treated aggressively since cant tolerate much but I have bad headaches all over head nothing helps neck pain nausea dizziness but I think that's more lyme and neuropathy horrendous leg pains.
I don't think my blood test was positive my llmd diagnosed by s/s also have babesia mycoplasma and borrellia.
I had the red stretch marks on outer thighs years ago still dark red oh also causes weird rage irritability and unable to sleep! I have gotten by by treating symptoms but not too smart better to get it early! All my best to you and feel better soon.

Tests are poor even if you have it.
Over the last 4+ year period my daughter has been tested for Bartonella 11 times.
Negative until the 10th blood draw last October, she was positive with Quest, negative from Igenex.
Then this May, negative with Quest and Positive from Igenex.
