Well, I had a lot of time away but stress has caused the lyme neuoropothy to begin again. This is usually followed by fatigue but I'm trying to see if any of the new treatments I am listing here have worked for anyone? IV Vancomyacin was my treatment of choice which kept it down for sooo long.
Any success stories with
1. BX Protocal
2. Cholestryamine
or any new treatments except for abx?

Of course, it is best to find an excellent ILADS educated (and beyond)LLMD &/or LL ND to sort out exactly what's at the bottom of this for you, this time around.

Glad so see you posted in "Seeking a Doctor" but sorry your previous LLMD has retired.

Don't assume anything. Stress can be a trigger but there is still something underneath that.

If the LLMD you find is not up on adrenal support, a LL ND should be.

If you are on your own, then you will have to guess at how to approach, in what order, etc.

I suggest Rife. Unless you can go to Germany for the BioPhonton treatment, I think Rife is the best choice.

I tried to find out more about the BX Protocol but their site is so much fluff. If you have some actual details, that would be nice. Their long video tells nothing, absolutely nothing other than about mitochondria support but we all know that already and it's not enough.

I do not trust the folks at BX due to the tone of the video and the impossible task of navigating their flashy website. All I see is a magic trick.

If you found the actual meat to that, please post the exact link. Thanks.

This method seems more logical to me:

Topic: RIFE Machine - Reference LINKS

"How to Find A LL ND" links here, too, with many books / articles by both LLMDs and LL NDs.

"Why Can't I Get Better" by Dr. H, a new book is listed at the end of the thread. I suggest getting that, and also Buhner's books.

Cholestryamine. Some do well with it. It nearly killed me, in various ways. If you do well, great. If not, take the hint that it's not for you and there are far better choices, IMO, that help reduce neurotoxins without depleting your body of needed nutrients.

It's from the shells of shellfish, too, and who knows what all is in that from ocean pollution. So, if you get that be sure it's from a source that considers that issue.

And be sure it's not with artificial sweeteners or ANY additives at all, even "natural flavors" is just MSG in disguise.

Gluten, Dairy, other foods and Food Additives could be contributing to your symptoms.

Be sure you are gluten free for gluten can cause nerve damage, perhaps, even if one is not a genetic celiac (IMO).

Excitotoxins; MSG; Aspartame; & "Natural" Flavors (that are not likely natural at all);

GMO foods that destroy the GI Tract; Gluten; Dairy.

Fish Oil. Coconut Oil (one TBSP every 8 hours) - be sure you are getting enough nutrients from all food groups.

Acupuncture did wonders for me the first time around when the antibiotics wasn't working. According to "The Lyme Disease Solution" book Acupuncture, massage and bodyworks and low dose naltoxine are the best ways to improve your immune system so your immune system can fight off the Lyme disease. For the year and a half that I was getting acupunture I got sick a total of 1 time. Truely amazing since I generally catch whatever is going around.
