I am currently taking mepron and Biaxin but want to start taking csa by woodland essence. I also want to try buhners Bart protocol as well as bw a-l complex. I don't really know anything about these or their interactions

In my opinion combining herbs and antibiotics is a great idea. There are very few herbs that have any real negative impacts on meds. St Johns wort is one such herb.
Buhner says his herbs can be combined with meds.
Hubby always took both herbs and meds if we could afford it.
As with any lyme treatment - just add one new herb or formula at a time to monitor for any potential side effects or reactions.
Good luck.

I'm sad to continually see participation on this site so low. I remember the days when a member, myself included, placed a post and it moved on to the second page rapidly--only several hours later. I used to check page two several times a day for current posts, many of which were moved back up to page one. Now I rarely do so because there is no need to.
The lively discussion and insightful and helpful responses are now largely absent. Rote repeat of links are not a replacement for an exchange of ideas and discussion.
Thanks for those who still make the effort.

Tbrown - The answer is yes. Buhner is his book, and on his website says it is fine and often produces better results to combine herbs with antibiotics than either one alone.

Abxnomore...
I agree 100%. I don't feel free to bring up certain important subjects which may be controversial. In the past, my posts on certain topics have been deleted, and when I question why, I have been warned I will be banned.
I believe we need more open discussion of new and edgy ideas if we ever hope to make advancements or change in this so called "War on Lyme". Going over the same ground is not conducive to getting out of the "Lyme Vortex" for many who are chronically ill.
This forum has such far reaching possibilities; I only wish it could be used to its fullest potential...

Unfortunately, what you describe is what took place in the past when Lymenet new was a very different site. It's clear many have moved away or were pushed away and many just don't participate for the reasons you stated.
