Hello all,

Had my first depo provera shot in March and was diagnosed with Lyme in August and babesia last month.

The depo shot is to treat endometriosis. I am loving not loosing a week out of every month do to the pain. Work is loving the fact that I do not miss a week of work each month.

However, I am wondering if the depo shot is effecting my bodies ability to fight off the lyme and babesia.

Is there anyone out there successfully treating for endo in a way that does not irritate the lyme etc..?

Is it possible to treat for lyme while still on depo?

I am really having a hard time with the thought of going back to not being able to function for a week each month. The lyme is not nearly as painful and I do not miss work. For the most part I do not miss doing most of what I want to do, even with the pain and exhaustion. It is much easier to deal with then the monthly ordeal I used to go through.

I would love to hear your thoughts, both positive and negative on this.

I have heard of iodine being used to treat this.

Sorry, don't remember much more than that.
