I have to use beta blockers to try to sleep - heart starts racing at night every night same time. I lie awake for hours.

And the crawling scalp/teeth/ear /jaw/lymph pain is killing me too. Something is infecting my head.

So usual sleep stuff and heart stuff not working. I am in bad shape, very weak and frail. Any suggestions?

There are microorganisms in the scalp/hair follicles that can overgrow as a result of long-term antibiotic usage. One is Malassezia, a type of yeast, but there are others including various bacteria.

I don't know whether Malassezia is what's causing your issues but it's not uncommon. It can also get into the ears etc [there are hair follicles in the ears too]. See my other posts for more info.

One suggestion I have is to pay close attention to what makes these symptoms better or worse. For example, is the crawling scalp better/worse after:

- taking NSAIDs
- taking antibiotics or antifungals
- shampooing (depending on type of shampoo)
- getting hair colored (if you do that) ... (hydrogen peroxide)

Also time of day, e.g. is it worse at night or any particular time?

Do you experience itching? Burning?
Any white, hypopigmented areas on the skin?

Keeping a careful log of what you take & your symptoms may help a lot with diagnosing the problem. You can review this info. w/ your doctor.

Note, though, that most doctors are *not* familiar with Malassezia even though it is the most common yeast on the skin, and that it does not show up in any standard fungal testing.

I've read that crawling sensations can be associated with bart, parasites could be another culprit. When I begam tx'ing with parasite meds my nightly heart palps completely stopped.

Creepy crawlies were the worst on my head and upper body. A huge cause of insomnia for me. Those are getting better. Gone while on meds, a week after round two they are starting to come back again but not as bad.

Are you sure your teeth / jaw are healthy? My heart symptoms stopped the DAY I pulled two teeth out. They were dead teeth, and the jaw was fully infected under both teeth.

My lyme doc says his patients rarely die from lyme alone, but he sees non lyme patients even, die of teeth /cavitation infections (heart symptoms are common with dead teeth).

My high blood pressure, anxiety, palpitations, difficulty to remain asleep, all were gone in one day: the day I pulled my two teeth off. It was amazing.

I don't say that is the only cause, as there may be many. I also had HBP during lyme and many heart symptoms, that disappeared with lyme treatment. Now I don't have lyme anymore, but these teeth really caused me trouble.

Tried Nizoral with little change, also Diflucan is too harsh so can't take that.
No root canals. The cavitation thing seems way too complicated to investigate.....and controversial...can't find someone to look for them, much less fix them, if they are there.

The parasite meds I've been using are the ones outlined in the Dr.K protocol, along with lots of liver and colon support.

Can infected cavitations in the jaw be picked up by a regular dentist, on a panorex or similar type of x-ray maybe?

I would take lots of magnesium instead of the beta blockers. That is not advice, just personal preference.

Have you tried olive leaf extract for the possible yeast?

or half a Diflucan?

Brussels you must have more luck in Europe finding ways to detect the teeth and cavitations thing. My dentist looked at me cross eyed when I asked about this. Would a panoramic X-ray show any problems if they were there...cavitations and such?
It is very controversial here.

Thank you for the info. I always get great checkups at the dentist so have had nothing to go on there. I'm stumped.

It's very controversial here too. I have to travel HOURS by train here and there to treat my teeth, involve my lyme doctor in the dentist surgeries, etc...

I pay double fees for each tooth treatment, phone talks in between them (also paid) etc. It is NOT easy.

And most common dentists do laugh at me, when I say I do not want implants, I do not want toxic materials, I want to energy test all single materials present in the partial, etc...

The whole thing is the same here as everywhere else. Treatment costs are prohibitive too.

As for the question of cavitation: nothing shows in X rays, except when you have a massive infection. The infection may appear (whitish in X rays) but micro damage to bones will never appear.

The dentist who practices cavitation surgery make us, patients, sign a document saying, he is not guilty if nothing is found when the tooth is pulled. They usually see nothing in X rays.

My 'real' x-ray is energy testing! That is what my lyme doc does, and that is how he 'sees' bone infections (cavitations). Pure energy testing.

And also to clean the bone: the dentist just sees a bit of the infected bone. After he cleans a bit, my lyme doctor comes in, testing ALL points where infection remains, energetically.

So really, this procedure will NEVER become mainstream, nowhere in the planet.

It looks more like a sorcerer doing some expiation of spirits in a dentist surgery than anything else.

Having said that: my panoramic X-ray showed widespread infection this time, for the first time ever, even to the mainstream dentist. Even I can see infection (whitish).

First time I treated 2 big cavitations, during lyme treatment long ago, there was nothing in the multiple X-rays I did. Nothing, zero, really. I went to 5 different dentists in 3 countries to check, because I was not really sure my lyme doc could have seen really cavitations.

Well, turned out my lyme doc was right. When both teeth were pulled off, they were fully infected. The surgeon confirmed, I saw it with my eyes.

So X-rays may show infection, or not.

don't dream too much thinking things are much better here. They aren't.
