See your LLMD and go on abx again, IMO

It can and do happen, anytime. In winter specially is the time for relapsing. Treat fast, before you really fall sick. Good luck!

I am experiencing the same exact thing-and with

very similar symptoms ! :/ I had met with a Dr H

6 years ago who had brought my health back up to

about 90% and so I stopped all abx (orals

followed by 2 months of bicillin) and began

enjoying life.I even became pregnant a year later

and now have a beautiful healthy 4 year old boy.

Unfortunately, about 8 months ago I began to VERY

slowly deteriorate. Mostly neuro with

fatigue. And now It's at it's absolute worst.

In fact, I think that my cognition is even worse

than it was prior to being treated.

Sorry to hear that you're back too :/ just don't know what's going on anymore

Their are a couple things that will cause relapse, one is calcification and the other is bone penetration. The molecules of ABX are too big to get in the bones and MD's don't treat calcification or repair the immune system.

I'm sorry to hear about your relapse! Back to the LLMD, as soon as you can. Did you address biofilms the first time around with Tindamax/Flagyl? That's crucial to staying well.

I am full into my relapse now, and I've been crying this morning after a rough night of maybe 5 hours sleep total. I was off abx for 3 months after being on high dose cefuroxime for over 3 years.

Even though I had done a Flagyl challenge a few years ago, I feel this is Lyme coming back in full force. Before going on high dose cefuroxime(generic Ceftin) I used to relapse all the time, even at lower doses of the same drug.

My symptoms are going crazy with no let up. I have an appt. with my LLMD in a few weeks.

Has anyone here continued on antibiotics as maintenance therapy for years? Do you pulse?

How can I get well and stay there?

Discouraged.

Many people feel that after antibiotics, if there's a relapse, herbal remedies are a good path to follow. A couple of good books to read are "Healing Lyme" by Stephen Buhner and "Healing Lyme Naturally" by Wolf Stohl.

If you aren't taking antibiotics, take herbs. Unless you're certain that you have been cured, never let time go by without taking one or the other. You are in a war against Lyme and its

coinfections and it multiplies rapidly and you can't let it get ahead of you.

I was doing Byron White Formulas, certainly not as strong as antibiotics in my case. I also had lyme for 7.5 years before it was diagnosed, so it was a pretty bad.

I think the antibiotics are slowly working. Burning skin is not so bad. I am very fatigued and sleeping a lot, but in the evening I have some better hours where I almost feel "normal." Mornings are rough as I think the toxins build up overnight. Detoxing with lime juice water.
