Yeah...it doesnt seem right to me either. How many ppl do u know tht went to one doc and got tx for lyme....really...isnt lyme tx something tht happens after many second opinions?

I als got cancer after getting lyme. My lyme was treated and i was 80% better and able to work to within 2 yrs of retirement when i became disabled

A numbet of things were stressful for me: hoysing, finances, legal stuff and over time i think lyme got worse due to strrss

Then breast cancer-hopefully dealt with successfully

But then a number of precancerous conditions

So now i am beginning a new cycle....putting health first

Housing. Is good. Finances ok. I think if i am careful i can get back to where i was with lyme tx. Hope so. Hope cancer stuff can be reversed

I think it makes sense if you are stressed, not tx ing, not taking supps etc that cancer could sneak in

Good luck to u.

Ps...a friend who didnt smoke died of lung cancer 7 yrs after her daughter died in a car accident. They were very close. The mom tried to go on...work...but all who knew her knew the stress of losing daughter was huge

Stress reduces ability of immune system to protect you...so cancer can t as ke over

I think we all have cancer cells inside of us. So when stress hits......

"a friend who didnt smoke" . . .

that does not mean she was not getting exposure.

Many of us were exposed to smoke as children. If a parent smoked years ago, no one ever thought to open a window or go outside.

Many had to work with smokers, etc.

And there are so many other factors, air pollution, the chemicals we use in our homes, for our "beauty" routines (sprays, powders are all terrible for any lungs), etc. Even nail polish (fumes) poses a risk for cancer.

Off gassing of the glues & petro products in our flooring, etc.

That "new car smell" is very toxic and links to cancer, too.

There are all kinds of immune issues, as well.

Anytime the body is weakened by one thing, its defenses are compromised.

bitbit99,

back to your diagnosis, though. I'm sorry to hear about this. I hope you are in the best hands with a good holistic doctor / team who really understand the importance of liver support during any Rx treatment (for a start).

There are some specific medical mushrooms that may be very good support - any good holistic oncologist or naturopathic doctor would know more about support methods.

A rife machine may be something good to explore.

Take care.
