my doc had given me flagyl again for suspected diverticulitis flare. I could only take it four days. my eyes turned dark red, itches and my lips burned. I got severe mid and lower back pain s o bad. it hurt worse when I layed down.

One time (thank heavens it was only one time) I
had a REALLY painful lymph net swelling that I
would say was easily covering 1/3 of my body. I
tried everything one normally tries from very
gentle jumping on a mini- tramp to gentle lymph
massage, warm baths, compresses,
essential oils, took herbal lymph drainer, etc.
What
helped the most, and it was the last thing I
tried, was 2 ounces of Organic Inner Leaf Aloe
Vera by Lilly of the Desert. The exact mechanism,
other than getting inflammation down, of how that
worked, is unknown to myself. I repeated it a few
times a day. I dont know if that work with your
GI situation.

- With lymph tissue, it's not so much about "detox" agents to take but how to improve CIRCULATION with
1. warm compress
2. gentle massage action (check out top notch massage therapist sites for "lymphatic massage") - you can do some of this yourself
Walking and other gently exercise is good, too.
3. water, certain foods, homeopathics, &/or key herbs that can help encourage circulation of lymph.
It's all about circulation & having enough fluid on board, so whatever approach you take, keep that in mind. And, really, all three facets should be on board. -

I agree with the red root. I would buy the tincture and try a small dose.
If you do not have a mini-trampoline then just sitting on the edge of the bed and bouncing up and down will help with lymph drainage.
Aloe vera gel is available in almost any health food store. It is a liquid. It can help heal the G.I. - never really heard it talked about as a lymph drainage product, but it is not all that expensive - bottles come in different sizes. Might be worth a try.

- Skin brushing - with a very special kind of brush, though, very soft and not used for other things (though may look like a hairbrush). Whole Foods and such stores likely have these in their wellness dept.
you can do a web search for instructions - so that you brush in a certain direction along lymph "pathways" to help increase lymph circulation. -

Also maybe try Echinesia. It's suppose to drain the lymph really good. Lemon water warm water.

I know someone who "cured" her Interstitial Cystitis with the same aloe vera product.
It's capsules, randi.

I know it sounds counter intuitive but exercise (light weights) will help to clear lymph system and works fast.
