Hi all, not sure if any oldies are still here as I haven't been on in awhile. Lost my husband on Oct.7 2014 and that with the after symptoms of lyme has me in a horrible state. Just wanted to drop in and say hello and see how others are doing.

TY, Lymetoo, I didn't realize how horrible it is to lose a spouse, he was taking care of me. I knew the Lyme would get me first. I miss him so much and with Lyme not able to get out for distractions etc. Or should I say after lyme. My test have come back all neg. just the lyme mess in my head. Still, anxiety, ear ringing, off balance , depression etc. and the grieving. How are you? Doing well, I hope.

Phyl, I am so so sorry for your loss. It must unimagible with also being so sick. Surround yourself with those who love and care about you if you are so lucky to have people like that in your life. Take each day at a time which I have learned to do so ill... but it keeps me grounded (mostly alone too) and I remind myself that I am stil a worthy and whole human being albeit with an illness.
Pls PM me if you feel up to it. Know that everyone grieves at his/her own pace. take care and hugs.

So sorry you are going through this. :( The stress alone would bring lyme back. Hopefully you are doing some things to help (detox daily, yoga, deep breathing, acupuncture, etc, not to mention a support group for widows).

I am so sorry for your loss. I am widowed too with Lyme and co. I got really sick after my husband's death.
Please feel free to pm me if you need support. Its very hard to deal with a chronic illness and grief at the same time.
Sending you hugs and healing energy.

I too am so very sorry, Phyl. I can really relate when you say he took care of you and you expected to be gone first.
My heart breaks for you and know that we care here so very much. Hugs.

phyl - So sorry for your loss. I lost my spouse to Babesia two years ago - October 9, 2012. I am fortunate to be healthy, but even so being a widow is hard.
I turned 50 less than a month after Steve died. Not sure if being relatively young has made it easier or harder.
To send a pm - click on the middle icon that shows an envelope and 2 people shaking hands that shows on the same line as a person's lymenet name.
