About 10 years ago while living in Eastern PA with a home in the Pocono mountains I went to my Primary Doc who said the one single raised rash on my buttock was "one" shingle. Now after years of thinking my joints just went downhill fast I am wondering did anyone ever hear of "one shingle" Maybe this was a tick bite. I don't remember whether I had flu like symptoms but it wasn't normal for me to go to Doc unless I felt pretty bad.
