These seem like they're becoming more and more common lately. But here's another so called "cure" that busts biofilms.

Kinda nice to see lyme disease in a list of mrsa and tuberculosis....its like we re finally getting some respect

It would be nice to find a real cure

It's a pity there was not more detail about this drug. Some of the comments after the article were rather irritating, I thought!

Still, it is another beam of hope that we all need. Thanks for posting it.

I think right now it is a CONCEPT .. not a specific drug. AT least no name for one yet.

The Utah Lyme disease association says it's in phase 1, which means they are running clinical tests and have the drug. They say in phase 2, we are eligible for it. Says a year.

My hope is that CURZA, the makers of the drug, don't sell out to Pharm Co's. But the guy is from the Church of Latter Day Saints.....Ya never know. They'd shut this project down asap.

I might have read into this wrong, but the interview with Curza's CEO on Bloomberg TV had him indicating that he thought Big pharma buyouts were a positive thing.

Hoping for the best, assuming it might not be so great. Big pharma is not going to cure Lyme. They'll find a way to string us along.

He definitely stated he hoped to be merged / acquired lymeboy.

The scary part about abx resistance in my mind is that so many are unaware there are other contributing factors for this.

Most people don't realize a full 75-80% of abx manufactured in the US are actually used in agriculture.

Simply put, our dairy and meat supplies are polluted with the stuff in the never ending quest to increase big industry profit.
