Ive been dx with Hyperparathyroidism. I will be scoped due pre cancerous cells in esophagus and swallowing difficulties in throat. I have deep gratitude for a member to a Parathyroid Thread on FB. for the record I hate face book.
Hyperparathyroidism. Now I'm searching for a good Dr for the surgery. Symptoms are depression, fatigue, psychiatric on multi levels including suicidal idealization. It's know for "Moans Groans and Bones pain. Nausea, bone pain , headaches, sever antisocial and nothing is funny.
There are more symptoms. I've been researching it and I never once thought I've had this for years.
Faithful777 saved my bacon. All blood work is conclusive. And it's symptoms are very much like Lyme. The problem is High calcium and PTH my calcium is 10.5-11.3 and the normal range for PTH is 1-60 mine us 159.
Anyone that has high calcium and pain can cause kidney stone. High calcium in brain causes havoc. I'm asking for prayers. I can't face both Lyme and Hyperthyroidism.
Thanks for all info there's so much learn. And finding a Dr for the surgery is like finding a good LLMD

Annie, I am SO GLAD they found this!! Thank goodness.. so it's one step at a time. Hang in there.
Like you said, the main thing is to find a doctor!!
I would think that this is 90% of your problem and once you get this fixed you will be WAY better!!!
I think Lyme is on the back burner.

That's what I'm praying for. God only knows how many years this has been afflicting my brain due too much cakcium in my brain. Here's a big of info. Lat time u I saw my LLMD I have these little bb size lumps under my skin on my shins. He said they were calcium deposits. He did not connect it to Hyperthyroidism

- Annie,
So glad you got that additional information and good that the next steps are much clearer.
Faithful777's detail in your last thread was so helpful. I wish you could go to the clinic in Florida - still - hope you find the best one for you.
You might ask your insurance to consider a different doctor if they have an exceptionally better track record than others (which the Florida clinic seems to have).
you might let people know that you're not in Wyoming (as I think your last thread mentioned you live many states away), so they can better suggest doctors.
Best of luck to you. -

Yes. I'm sure I will. My Dr says Im not healthy enuf to a good candidate. Due to my weight 85 lbs. Im not sure I'm up to another battle. With my lord the battle has been one. I need to have faith that I can do this.
Have you read all the symptoms on Hyperparathyroidism. It will scare you so much. Please pray for me. I've told my brother. He's not been very responsive. My niece on the other hand has read the web site I've sent her.
I'm not ready. It's that simple.

It's all part if high calcium and high PTH. IM VERY CLOSE THE only reasons I'm fighting is because my daughter is going tobbe a surrogate Momma. She gets inseminated the First week in March. It would ruin all her chances. I don't care who reads This. It's a very badgamecof crap shoot and the corners on my die are rounding off.

I'm seeing an endo tomorrow. I suspect I have this. Calcium has been creeping up for years, now at the very top or over range depending on the lab used. It's been a while since anyone last tested PTH for me.
Did you ever have the surgery? If so, how do you feel now?
