Can anyone relate. I have become weaker again these last few weeks. It is hard to even get across a room sometimes. Also, I have started to have hot flashes at night and an increase in air hunger or breathlessness.

Are you being treated for Babesia? Sure sounds like Babesia to me.

- Agree with marypart. Classic Babesia symptoms. Sure was for me. And the weakness is also very much a part of it. Be careful.
I hope you have a LLMD. They should know about all this. If you do not and if you just can't, there are some things you can do on your own. Best, of course for a LLMD or LL ND but if that's not possible, it really must be attended to in some very specific ways.
antibiotics won't work, important to know that.
Cryptolepis, an herbal tincture, was one thing that helped me. But whatever approach, no single method is enough. It must be combination approach.
Babesia can also cause severe anemia. Stinging nettle really helped me in that regard. -

- While I don't think any of these ideas will address the cause, they can help.
Cotton sleepwear, cotton sheet -- no wrinkle resistant fabrics (as they are coated in chemicals). Lands' End and LLBean are two good places to find ALL cotton sleepwear and tops.
I could not do even a tiny bit of a synthetic fabric next to my skin, ever. And darker colors' dyes can also be problematic in some fabrics.
Body lotions, soaps that are free of all petroleum products. I couldn't even do any body or face lotions, even the most "clean" of the bunch.
Pillow, mattress - avoid foam. At least have a good cotton topper (old quilt). Foam just really makes a lot of people sweat.
Be sure to drink water frequently, even at night when you are awake. Splash some cool water on your face -- or hold your hands in cool water, at the wrists, especially.
Cool compress on the arteries at the neck, groin can help, too.
