I read a comment somebody posted on here saying their LLMD said something about if you have a positive on band 31, it indicates you've had lyme for at least a year...that it takes that long for that to turn into a positive.
Is that true...or does anybody know anything about that theory?

Almost every book I've read mentions 31 and 39 as lyme specific but nothing's ever said about length of time you've had it.

My LLMD told me that band 31 IgG doesn't show up for at least a year. Since I had the max number of + by that band, he said I had Lyme a VERY long time.
