I was on IV Rocephin a few years ago and took Actigall the entire time that I was on it!
Now, I have gallstones!
Could they emerge years later/after taking Rocephin?

I personally experienced/ think my gallbladder was affected itself from lyme/ Bart-
I read it is difficult for antibx to cross into gallbladder.
Never had IV antibx, but needed GB out last year. No stones, but scarred/ not functioning.
My gut issues are much, much better after having it removed, although after surgery was no picnic.
I am sure you know all about GB flushes- be careful there.

Possible.

And while I loathe the term 'it's hereditary' it does seem to be people of my family (older immediate blood relatives)
have had gallbladder issues and had them out too. Can be a weak organ, infections may harbor there causing damage.

I think I have the exact same issue. No actigall here and I was on it for a yr and a half.
Something's going on with mine. Putting off surgery. I need to get on it. I think it was damaged while on it, it's just affecting me now.
