So I am scheduled to see an LLMD soon for his opinion but wanted to run this past the forum members too.
I am 25, male, almost asymptomatic (weird, I know) and with a strong immune system.
I do have Lyme and Babesia, however, which I've had for about 18 months.
Is it possible to treat both at the same time, i.e. Lyme antibiotics (minocycline et al) and Mepron and anti-Babesia herbs?
Or given my relatively health state, should I spare my liver the burden of Mepron and 3 antibiotics and just try pick one infection off first, and then the other? Thoughts?
A compromise I thought of, to protect my liver at least, is to do anti-Babesia herbs and Lyme antibiotics at the same time, and add Mepron later if needed.

Have you ever been treated during the 18 months? If not, lyme docs usually treat based upon symptoms. If lyme symptoms are showing then that's what your doc will focus on. If both lyme and babs are flaring (symptoms) then yes, docs treat both at the same time.
Your lyme doc will know what to do. Listen to him as you are paying him for his advice. Lyme docs have seen it all and they know what to do, and when to do it. We are all different so as far as your liver goes, your doc will know how to treat you once he obtains your history.
IMO, it's not always a good thing to treat if you don't have any symptoms. Having health and peace is not fun giving up even if you want to get a jump on lyme/babs.
