Hopefully, others will share their best ones. In the time being,

MILK THISTLE is the most common helper. I would start there. For some that can be a little strong so

DANDELION is usually easier then and also very good. Also good as a combination with Milk Thislte. More detail below.

Take A COUPLE HOURS AWAY FROM RX, by both directions of the clock.

As you start Rx tomorrow, as soon as you can, today, it would be best to start Milk Thistle. If you have grocer who features organic foods you will likely find a good brand of Milk Thistle there. Ask the wellness clerk for the best brand.

Do not buy just run of the mill supplements and, especially, not at big box stores. Some top brands include: Gaia; New Chapter; Source Naturals . . . .

Capsules are best although it also comes in tincture (Herb Pharm is an excellent brand) just be sure to dilute in at least 1/2 cup of water and let it "swirl" about a bit so some of the alcohol in the tincture dissipates.

Be sure to avoid all alcoholic beverages due to the impact on the liver.

Good luck to you.

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

Milk thistle and dandelion are both good.

I also used coffee enemas which increase glutathione production.

Whey protein has precursors to glutathione. So does NAC.

Are you supposed to start three new medications all on the same day?

If you can start with just one of them, you'd be able to tell whether or not you're having a reaction to it, such as stomach upset, rash, or loose stools.

Carol raises an excellent point.

Usually, it is best to start with just one thing at a time.

Take Doxycycline WITH FOOD already in your stomach (like half-way through a meal) so to protect your stomach lining. It can be rough on the esophagus unless in the middle of a decent amount of food.

Do not lie down for a while, seriously.

- and keep your torso upright at much as possible for at least 30 - 60 minutes after taking doxy (I forget which it is 1/2 or a full hour).

But do not take with any dairy and keep minerals (as supplements) away from doxy. Minerals will cut its strength, prevent absorption.

And, remember to avoid sunlight on your skin when taking doxy, and for some time afterward (not sure how long, though). Be ware of bounced sun and sun through even car windows, too.

All this will be worth in the long run, really.

Carol & Keebler,

No, started on the Cefuroxime today. Going to start slow and go two days before I then start the next, then two more days before the last one. Thanks for all the tips really, I appreciate them.

What a mess though. Pharmacist when I do start all three together I can't take them together. I can't take the Doxy with the Rifampin because of offset issues. I also can't take a multivitamin around then or magnesium. Going to have to carry a dam pill purse with me.... [Smile]

CHARTS will save the day. Making charts, however, can be like trying to design a new house on Mars. I'm a very visual / tactile thinker.

I'd have to set everything out on a table in rows with note cards for times of day - COLORS for this or that. Whatever works for you.

For the visual "card game" you could get different colors of note cards.

As you only have one bottle for each Rx, select one color card or (non-toxic - not Sharpie) color marker to represent that Rx in your visual board game as you figure it all out.

Transfer to the kind of chart that works for you.

You could invited family or friends -- the very best at this sort of thing and tell them who ever makes the best flow chart wins your praises!

Perhaps your LLMD can better explain the dosing for you so you can understand the offset issues.

As for liver support, my LLMD had me on various supports such as products from Energetix (Drainage-tone, lymph-tone (I, II or III), or products from Pekana. Makes a big difference for me.

However, sometimes if you still aren't doing well, it could mean that you are trying to kill off more than your body can process. It helps to have a good LLMD who can recognize the difference between die-off and overload.
