My husband had a seasonal illness (I think maybe the flu) that was like a bad cold for a few days, and after it cleared, a nasty sounding cough for 2-3 weeks after the cold. (NOTE: I didn't catch it, I assume because I'm on antibiotics) Ever since the cold, he's been complaining of cognitive difficulties. Similar people we've known with the illness had no cognitive problems, but took antibiotics. I'm thinking maybe it was a mycoplasma infection and he needs antibiotics. Thoughts?

Seems like mycoplasma is a possibility. Maybe he has a silent sinus infection. I had one.

Of course, Lyme begins with a flu like illness. Then it's followed with various Lyme symptoms. Cognitive problems is certainly one of them.. Depression and fatigue usually follow the flu like illness. That's the time to hit it hard with a good brand of Cats Claw.
