How many of you tested negative for co-infections but actually had them? Is this common?
Is it even common to ONLY get lyme and nothing else with it? I tested negative for Bartonelpa but my LLMD says it's obvious I have it...

None of the coinfection tests are 100% and it is common to have one of the TBD and not have a positive test for it on any given day. If a LLMD told you that you have it, I`d trust them and then thank them.
Thanks Tincup. I know that my LLMD is extremely experienced and knows his stuff so I should just relax and trust him. I just really struggle with a clinical diagnosis vs a straight up positive test. So frustrating! I do have many bartonella symptoms...I tested positive for lyme and he says I have Bart...I need to just accept it.
Only problem is I personally do not ever really herx with anything, so never get that confirmation of knowing the meds are killing something specific.
