Has anyone done a steroid pack for severe sacroilitis?? My lyme Dr. says that for severe cases they can be used. I have an apt tomorrow with my Lyme Dr. and was always under the impression we have to avoid steroids at all cost?
This is the same Lyme Dr. who got be on the road to life after several years of being very ill. I expect that he will order a three month course of antibiotics but the steroid pack too?? I have severe swelling in my sacroilic joint. It has shown up on the Mri.
The swelling is so bad I feel severely arthritic. I don't know how else to describe it. Has anyone done both??

It might be OK as long as you are on abx at the time. I would only do a very short course myself. (like one week)
Very sorry for your pain. I've had that before.
Have you tried curcumin?
