About three weeks ago I started getting some lower back pain that seems to be getting worse.

My LLMD took me off antibiotics for a week to see if it would help, and it hasn't. He was thinking that if temporarily stopping the antibiotics helped with the pain, than the pain was lyme related. And if not, maybe not lyme related.

I did nothing to tweak my back so I'm kind of clueless at this point. Ibuprofen hasn't helped.

About 2 weeks before the back pain started, I began a protocol of Doxy and Cedax, but had no issues then. Wasn't until three weeks later that the back pain started.

Curious to anyone's thoughts/suggestions to what's going on and how to alleviate the back pain.

Thanks!

Here 's something you might try. Next time you have lower back pain, take 2 potassium tablets. I use Spring Valley Potassium Gluconate from Walmart. It says 595 mg but it's 99 mg FROM 595 mg according to the Supplement Facts. It always fixes my lower back pain which I get when I'm under stress or haven't had enough fluids lately. Wait 10 minutes. If your back pain is gone, then you know the back pain was because you were low on potassium and you can start drinking more water and eating a banana each day or taking a potassium tablet each day.

Bruce101,
My back pain resolved with babesia treatment. (Such as Zithromax with Mepron, rotated crypto then artemisinin with infrared sauna) PEMF, Epsom salt bath, acupuncture.

Then I continued rotating anti-parasitic meds I am 85% better the last 8-9 months.

Ive had back pain but I cant say that it is caused by lyme. Ive had physical therapy and decompression happened the most. I was good for a number of years and been having a repeat. Ive found to hang upside down really helps. My friend has one of these machines.

Then I found this exercise and it really helps quiet at bit. My back pain was such that I couldn't sleep and did ok in the day. Now I can sleep.
