I was diagnosed with an ear infection last week.My ENT prescribed antibiotics that really make me feel awful. He also wants me to take prednisone but my LLMD is against it. Any suggestions as I am miserable

Crush garlic in olive oil. Let it sit in there for a few hours. Drip that in your ear, lay down for a whole like that.

Google for more info.

Garlic can be very hot and burn directly. Yet, there are some good prepared ear oils that you can get at most health food markets that have the perfect ratio of garlic with other soothing herbs.

Herb Pharm or Gaia. I'm not at home with my links but do NOT take steroids such as prednisone - it can make lyme a million times worse. A very dangerous thing.

Your LLMD is best to guide you on this . . . &/or a LL ND. Avoid all dairy, gluten, and corn to help. Good luck.

Be SURE to avoid dairy!!

Most health food stores have safe drops for ears .. some contain garlic.

I have an ear issue of long duration under control by using a drop tea tree oil directly into my ear when symptoms arise. This is what an ENT guy uses on his patients and it has worked really well for me. I also rubbed other oils around the effected area and they also helped. Those oils have been frankincense, clove, eucalyptus, and a drop of thyme oil on each foot.

Awesome idea lymenotlite. I'll have to try that too.

Shots of Rocephin?

My daughter used to get persistent ear infections and that's what worked for her.
