I found this interesting article showing EGCG and quercetin can help leaky gut by improving the Tight Junctions between the enterocytes:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21167699

quote:

To date, four flavonoids - epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), genistein, myricetin and quercetin - have been reported to exhibit promotive and protective effects on intestinal TJ barrier functions.

Im rebuilding my gut wall and find egcg and quercetin to be very helpful.

I would like to know your opinion, and what helped you with resealing your gut wall?
Im also doing GAPS diet, which i feel is working, but takes a lot of time. Im always looking for more options to improve treatment though.
Im focusing heavily on probiotics and fermented foods, and my next move will be Prescript Assist soil based probiotics.

Treating candida and parasites can also be helpful though im still experimenting with this (albendazole and olive leaf extract).

Hi S13

Did the EGCG help? How is your gut and how did you continue your journey?

Greetings
