Enlighten me people. What are the important points to know about this Co-infection?

Can it hide out like babs?

As for "hiding out" the symptoms can be quite profound but other TBD can share same symptoms. Initial treatment may not be adequate, though, and could become chronic and then maybe harder to identify.

As for "hiding out" from tests, that's a question and even the best labs don't have the crystal ball. After assessment IN PERSON with a very seasoned LLMD, the best labs seems the best bet but, still, nothing really beats experience and a keen mind of a good LL doctor.

Others may add to this. But, for starters, several excellent hits with Google for:

anaplasmosis, ILADS
