I could always smell mold or be able to tell when it was in a house or whatever, but now that I tx for tick diseases and been "cured" , and now that I am going through genetic restrusturing of my methylation cycle, I feel sick in every new building I go in to.

dizzy, nausea, feeling really drunk like I had a half pitcher of margaritas within 20 min. and it's not a fun high at all. its scary. and I gained more weight with very little eating. and other sx.

I think this is the mold issue since I feel worse in older buildings or in brand new things like a new car which ocould be offgassing.

why am I so sensative now in ways I wasn't before.? I mean I have always been sensative, but those that were here before are gone or very less, and now new ones keep popping up.

this is all so stupid. where is my pill to take to be all better already!!! haha.

it feels just like my bad times of tick disease. I was bitten several weeks ago, but how do I know that it isn't just the mold if they are basically the same exact sx??????

Its not a pill...its a packet

Look up treatment protocol on survivingmold.com

The first meds are binders and cime in packets

Many ppl get better just with tht and avoiding mold

Others it takes longer and more meds

ok, I am looking now..... thanks

I cannot sleep. this is not normal for me. I don't know if it's the two sudden deaths in my life or what. I have racing thoughts. I am a nervous wreck. need to calm down. I ran out of magnesium so I am sure this is contributing.

LisaK, Same thing happened to me two+ years into Lyme treatment. I was surprised that it happened then and not right away. Best I could surmise was that so many toxins had built up that my body could no longer handle the environmental ones too.

CSM .. cholestyramine removes toxins. It's not easy to take, but should help.

I find help from Living Clay. It also clears toxins and it's not expensive to use. No prescription needed.

Lisa .. GET ON THAT MAGNESIUM ASAP!!!

o boy took too much mag and yowie! trying to remember regular small doses daily. I need a personal assistant, ha.

Stay away from mag oxide so you can get more magnesium in and have fewer side effects.

Mag glycinate should help.

"An IgE (antibody) response to spirochete antigen in patients with Lyme disease."

IgE response to molds...

These are the offending antigens:

" However, infected, but not uninfected children made ***IgG*** anti-B. burgdorferi proteins p18, *p31*, p34, p41, p45, but not IgG anti-p60,

***and IgE anti-B. burgdorferi proteins p31, p34, p41, p45, p60, but not IgE anti-p18.***

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-3083.2007.01904.x/full

"and IgG1 specific for p66 reverse transcriptase, p31 Integrase, and..."

IF our body was able to make a fully functional antibody to OspB, it would be IgG1k and it would prevent histamine release.

I just got our home mold report back.

some areas are bad, but not many. I am just wondering why I would be reacting more to mold now- after I was feeling so much better? jsut because I left the house and came back?

that didn't happen any other time I went away over the last 10 years. why now? and I am thinking maybe that new tick bite is causing some of this.

It's not uncommon for those with sensitivities to experience a serious worsening of reactivity as they're cleaning up. This is the case for me: some sensitivities get better, while others get much worse.

I develop full blown MCS while practicing what's known as "extreme mold avoidance." I know a half dozen or so who get the exact same thing. Nobody really understands why this is. Some think it's part of healing. I tend to think certain bugs utilize, and cause, sensitivity reactions to ensure their survival. When you start to clean up, they redouble their efforts.

Dr Lisa Nagy speaks about it as an "unmasking."

Whatever it is, a few people have been able to calm it with extensive use of binders. I find cholestyramine, chlorella, bentonite, and activated charcoal are all effective at clearing mycotoxins. Others have had success with brain retraining techniques.

geronimog, could you explain more about the brain retraining techniques? It is the first I have heard of this with regard to mold toxicity.

Yes, I need to detox. I need to get on that asap.

geronimog, I was thinking this also- that it could be my body getting used to its new self, OR the new genetic suppliments I am on to get my methyl cycle in order????

but the gene expert didnt' mention this could be. hmm

idk... I DO know that I feel wayyy worse in the AM and somewhat more myself by approximately 5-7PM.

any thoughts on that people?
