Now that a favorite website is down, I would like some other sources of supplements, probiotics, BW formulas, etc. Ideally at wholesale/reduced costs, if possible.

Please PM if you have suggestions. Happy to PM a list to anyone once I have accumulated it.

If this is illegal to request on the forum, I look forward to having this post deleted. [bonk]

Thanks, all. Really appreciate all of the support here.

Vitamin Research Products - Herbal and Nutritional Supplements

Since our doors opened in 1979 . . . .

. . . VRP complies with the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs) in a number of ways. We establish stringent specifications for all raw materials and finished products.

Each specification includes well-defined criteria for appearance, identity, potency and microbial purity, as well as potential contaminants, when needed. We conduct extensive testing for raw materials, in-process materials and finished products to assure these specifications are met.

VRP sources all raw materials to ensure quality specifications are met. We control the sourcing of our raw materials so we know exactly who the supplier is. We put our suppliers through a qualification and approval process, which indicates how strictly they are following applicable GMP guidelines.

By knowing our suppliers and developing relationships with them, we better control the quality of materials we source from them. . . .

. . . We also have double verifications to exclude any potential metal contamination from finished products. . . .

. . . To ensure it is complying with all CGMP regulations, VRP works with NSF, which conducts independent, third-party testing and certification. This is not required through the GMP specifications. . . .

. . . Our 100% Unconditional Lifetime Money-Back Guarantee of Satisfaction. . . .

Anyone can register and purchase,

however, if one's naturopathic doctor (or similar) also orders through them, there may some degree of discount available if your practitioner gives you their Emerson patient order code so you can get items your ND suggests.

Herbal SOLID Extracts

These can be very hard to find and they are so much more effective, I've found, especially with the Hawthorn. This is one of the few places I've seen the solid extracts and at a far better price than one other place, too.

Concentrated, these are actually more economical than some other forms. Mostly, though, I just really feel the difference.

And, if one has a naturopathic doctor (or similar) be sure to ask them the place they might suggest to be certain of quality. They will certainly understand your need to find the best price while being sure of quality.

Though not at all about lyme, this is one of the best reference resources on my bookshelf that has wonderful chapters, many graciously available through their website.

Top supplement brands are listed here, too.

SEAGATE Olive Leaf Extract -- and other nutritional items, too.

There is usually a two-for-one offer on the OLE, sometimes on other items as well. The way they grow, tend, harvest and process is far better than most, according to a book on the topic by Morton Walker.

From their "About" page:

. . . Seagate has been producing a diversity of products for over 18 years . . . .

. . . Seagate is unusual in the health food industry because we harvest and process our own raw materials, including sharks, grapes and olive leaves.

Our most recent project, freeze-dried sweet organic carrot powder has even required that we operate our own organic farm in order to produce carrots that are 100% free of chemicals and pesticides. . . .

Now, one might notice that some of the items at links I've posted above may not be exactly at discount prices.

Yet, considering that quality of product is assured and that greater care has been taken at every step, including fair compensation to those growing herbs, tending them, harvesting them, etc. a case can be made that money is saved by having a better product in the first place.

Also, do not hesitate to contact any source directly and pose a question such as:

"I'm wondering if you just might be in the position to offer any kind of discounts for someone whose budget has been so affected from dealing with serious illness for a long time?"

With the understanding that they just might not be in such a position but that they also might be.

you should be able to get some of the products that you used to be able to get from the site that went down (if it's the one I'm thinking of) at www.pureformulas.com

they have fairly good prices

search e-bay and amazon as well. You can usually get free shipping but be careful, sometimes shipping is crazy high depending on the vendor.

Keebler, I thought Raintree went out of business when U.S. government blocked them from importing botanicals from South America.

I'm glad to see their products are available again.

Yes, it took a while (after a ridiculous red-tape saga) but many of the RainTree formulas are available again through a different source, yet according to the original research by Leslie Taylor, whose articles are (book is) still available to read / study.

I get most of my supplements on Amazon Prime. With Prime, I don't have to pay for shipping and I get most of them in 2 days.

I also order a lot of my dry goods from them ... nuts/seeds, dried superfoods, flax seed, chia, gluten-free oatmeal, etc.

If you can think of absolutely anything, any supplement or product, chances are you can find it on Amazon. Use it for everything in my life including supplements.
