Is one gram of Rocephin the same as one gram of Ceftin?

Probably not - but how to compare?

I am thinking a gram of Roc. more potent than a gram of C. ???

Rocephin has a longer half life of around 8 hours where Ceftin is an hour and a half. I'm trying to figure out right now why Ceftin works if blood levels can drop so low?
