Hi, I was tested positive for Lyme on the Elisa twice.

I am in bad shape.

Of course, they misdiagnosed me with ADD and I've been taking by Vyvanse for over a year.

It does help with my energy and motivation. This disease makes me terribly exhausted, achy and depressed so I do benefit from the boost.

Anyone else have experience taking ADD stimulants with Lyme?

Thanks

Kate, yes I have also been diagnosed with ADD before finding the Lyme and found that the meds helped me a lot.

I stopped taking them a while ago though because although they really helped with focus and energy I felt they were making me a bit robot like and unemotional.

Stimulates can be a very harsh stress on the heart (especially with heart rate rhythm) and the adrenal system for those with lyme.

Adrenal support may be of help but most of all, attention and assertive action against lyme, itself.

Toxicity from lyme is what often causes such exhaustion, too. What helps:

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

Some foods can cause problems of exhaustion and inability to focus. A gluten-free diet is often a great help.

Excitotoxins; MSG; Aspartame; & "Natural" Flavors (that are not likely natural at all).

GMO foods that destroy the GI Tract; Gluten; Dairy.
