Indeed, while I know we all like to just find the golden ticket right under our noses, the test tube VERY different - yet can yield important insights.
Though it may be helping me in some marginal manner at the level I enjoy it in my green tea,
If stevia could cure lyme, just as in green tea, I'd have my life back, that's for sure. I probably use about 1.5 dropperfuls a day (in 6 mugs of tea).
Don't think I'd want more than that in diet . . . although, with their lab study, they are likely looking into dose / delivery system / longevity / etc.
Good to hear she / they are looking to things such as this. Will be interesting to see what comes of it.
And, I'm not about to go get stung by bees or even get shots of bee venom. My adrenal system would go kaput to the hundredth degree, I'm sure. Yet, I'll bet she / they are looking at all the intricate aspects and that bee venom, too, might hold successful insight. -

All very true. We can extrapolate this to all the abx we take & the fact that we become more tolerant and excrete abx the more we are exposed to it.
Many ABX such as IV Rocephin, Doxy, Penicillin, Bicillin LA shots...etc all became ineffective in a few weeks for me. Really those depended on pain killers, on recreational drugs, and even alcohol all become less effective after the first few doses/trials.
Our body becomes more familiar with foreign toxins we put into our bodies & we become more efficient in removal of such consumables.

Keebler, good to know about your stevia experience, but at least she is honestly testing & actively looking for a cure for all of us.
Better than the BS same old story that the pharmaceuticals & rest of the medical community have given us throughout the years.

Randibear, no way should anyone allergic to bees use bee venom therapy. Double-check with an allergist, but I'm pretty sure they'd also say not to if you have a bee sting allergy.

There may be something to the "sweetener" aspect for killing a pathogen. I read on line a while ago (sorry don't remember where)that some doctors in England were killing MRSA with a combo of an abx and sugar in IV solution.
They found that the bacteria would eat the sugar and then die from the abx mixed in. The abx alone was not working.
Dr. Sapi is also the researcher that finds Filarial Worms in 40% of the ticks she dissects. I wouldn't poo poo anything at this point. Manucha honey is also used for wound healing. I do understand being skeptical that something like stevia alone would kill borrelia.
Lyme is a complex of pathogens as we all recognize and can take a lot of different regimes to put this beast to sleep. Agree that bee venom therapy can be risky business for some.

The venom stops the drilling but hurts quite a bit in it own rite.im up to 20 micro stings and a couple of quik sets...i wonder what its doing for my immune also...endorphines ar nice..neede to support adrenals..
one studi in 96 rocky mountain labs also in vitro..dr k and buhner recommend it amber rose did 60 patients alot of whom had good response.some of its components do cross bbb.ms patients can hang with it .i have cpn and mri said it looks like.
But lyme is more my concern. i feel good day of then die off next and ouchys...
as for stevia how much would one have to do? Does it affect blood sugar? Dr N showed that honey does stop spirochettes. If we could ony inject that

A lot of people are really improving with bee venom. Amber rose has a book on it. Sold on amazon and a Facebook group for support and information. Its called pioneers:healing lyme with bee venom.
