I'm having a big problem with facial Rosacea. I'm on a good live probiotic and no new meds.
My diet is excellent lean protein, veggies and a small amount of fruit, and quinuoa or millet or potato, along with a lot of h2o with lemon.
I can't afford any expensive creams or lotions. I have tried cetaphil, dove soap, and a few homeopathic things:
--fresh lemon juice on face morning and night and gently washed off. Also tried good quality olive oil with the same regime.
I know this doesn't seem like a big deal but with all my cognitive issues I'm aggravated that this is one more thing.
Any advice or suggestion will be SO appreciated

Doxycycline is actually one of the meds that is used to treat rosacea long term. By any chance will you be taking that any time soon? It might help! I know that Lyme treatment can bring out rosacea symptoms temporarily for some.
Do you think the lemon juice might be causing this? I would stop using this for a while and see what happens. Also, I wondered about your probiotic being a possible trigger.
You probably know this, but any heat or cold can cause rosacea symptoms. It sounds like your diet is fine. Caffeine, spicy food, alcohol, can all provoke rosacea symptoms. Good luck.

Lemon juice really could be aggravating it... the olive oil might too.
You may want to take a look at the salicyate issue... it may be part of your troubles and if so, lemon and olive oil would be out.
