I did a quick search and couldn't find this previously posted. Sorry if I missed it.

Just wanted to see what the thoughts were on this

Detection of Established Virulence Genes and Plasmids to Differentiate Borrelia Burgdorferi Strains.

"We show that two strains isolated from the same tick and both originally named N40 are in fact very distinct."

What sort of difference would this have made regarding results of the studies, if any?

Or any other general thoughts on it.
