I recently found that it only costs $10 to have a hyperbaric Oxygen session in China. What a huge price difference from the U.S.!

It sounds temping, especially when I am still recovering from a concussion, which can also be helped by HBO.

My question is whether there is any risk and why the huge price difference.

I speculate building a HBO chamber is not rocket science, so the price can vary with local wage. But I wonder about oxygen. Is there such thing as good oxygen or not-so-good cheap oxygen?

Have anybody have opinion or experience with HBO in other countries?

I guess that depends on how long you want to live in China!

In my experience (I became 100% well with mHBOT), for chronic Lyme, this is a treatment that requires commitment over an extended period of time.

There are ways to bring your costs down here in the US, for example via renting a home chamber and sharing costs cooperatively.

There are people doing this for as little $5.00/daily session each (e.g., w/group of 4 participants)...

Have you read the Mild Hyperbaric thread? I would suggest reading all pages...

I would also suggest the book, "The Oxygen Revolution", by Dr. Paul Harch.

Please feel free to PM me with questions, if you are interested...
